X-ray image is a sum of projection that generates when a beam of X-ray penetrates through different density and thickness of the framework,it forms when such penetration of the projection overlaps interactively.The purpose of this paper is to enhance image engenders by low-dose X-ray,to reduce radiation of patients and in the meantime,to acquire qualified images for doctor's diagnosing.The first paragraph of this research will introduce the digital image processing technique,the basic concepts of X-ray image and its development.This study will analyze the spatial domain enhancement methods such as histogram equalization and partial smoothing,to compare its advantages and drawbacks through experiment. Spatial domain enhancement operates to image pixel directly in order to avoid noise, enhance the edge,highlight details,emphasize the important section of the image, weaken or remove useless information,and thus,it is more readable than X-ray image.This article adopts integrated development environment Visual C++6.0 of Microsoft,utilizing MFC program to achieve X-ray image enhancement technique through experiment,then design and implement medical image enhancement system based on result analysis,comparison and improvement.By using the system,we can effectively enhance the implementation of X-ray image,and focus on providing a reliable diagnosis to doctors.The framework of this paper mainly includes:1,Introduction of application and development of X-ray and digital image processing,analyze the background of this research,the current situation and status of domestic market and abroad.2,Analyze the spatial domain image enhancement methods and related algorithms.3,System analysis and design.Will carry out system demands analysis and the outline design,including system processing,functional modules and introduction of interface design. 4,System implementation.Complete X-ray image enhancement system as well as other image enhancement methods,to compare and analyze effect of different enhancement methods through experiment.
