Practice And Research On The Test Of Embedded Software

With the social development, embedded system plays an important role in life of human being, and mobile phones as embedded systems on behalf of people's lives has become an indispensable item. To meet the requirement of functions for mobile phones, hardware and software technology and the rapid expansion of mobile phone market make competition among mobile phone manufacturers become increasingly fierce.Till now, the portion of software system in embedded system is bigger and bigger, and more and more complex. So guarantee reliability of embedded software will face baptism of fire. Most of software testing method can be used for embedded testing directly or indirectly, however, owing to the runtime and embedded system characteristic, embedded software testing has to face some special problem.This paper takes the handset software test as an example, has conducted the research to the embedded software test. Analysis of the basic methods and process of software testing. The characteristics, techniques and test tools of embedded software testing are emphasized.3. Realize a mobile phone software testing process, including testing requirements, test strategies and plans, test design, test implementation and test results analysis.4. Research test methods and the testing tools of the embedded software taking the mobile phone software testing as the example.
