Research And Implement Of Permission Management System Based On O/R Mapping

Permission Management System is an important part of almost all Management Information System, is the base part of security requirement. A good permission management system should deny unauthorized access strictly; on the other hand, it should be friendly to other parts of the system.As ORM framework become more and more popular, the accesses to database become quite easy. Now new MISs almost use ORM framework for access to database. How to design a great permission management system based on ORM is a very meaningful work.The Srims, short for Science Research Information Management System, which our laboratory developed for Ocean University of China, is a typical MIS. Because of the complexity of scientific research project flow, this system is more complex than normal MIS. We use Microsoft .Net Framework as the platform with Linq which included in .Net Framework as the ORM framework to access to database.The subject"Research and Implement of Permission Management System Based on O/R Mapping", first as part of Srims, it has important meaning for scientific research management of Ocean University of China, further more it discusses how to use ORM in permission management system which can be a introduction for using ORM technology in more wide and deep scope.In the thesis, First of all, it has presented the main background and significance about this thesis and its technology including .Net Framework, ORM, RBAC etc. Secondly, it introduces in details the realization of the system, including demand analysis, the system architecture design and realization of functional modules. In the end, it describes the future of the system. The thesis works out a visual permission management system based on ORM, which is an important part of Srims. It provides a multi-function, user-friendly and simple operation platform.
