With the development of the military technology ,the speed of the moving objects idbecoming much higher than before .in such high-dynamic environment ,to some extent, it isnot only different to capture track and test the signals, but also costing much labor andfinancial resources. Debugging the diction system and simulating the parameters with the aidof the signal simulator can not only examine and test the system performance, but also canseparate the system into modules for parallel research, which benefits for shortening theresearch process and reducing the research cost. The paper focused on designing the signalsimulators of the wireless moving objects'characteristic waves, aiming at the peculiarity of thewireless system with high-speed under highly-dynamic environment.Here, at first, the current researches on signal simulators was analyzed and the threepopular design procedures were compared .according to the characteristics of the movingobjects'echo signals, we adopted the method of"microcomputer+DDS"to design the signalsimulator. Secondly, on the basic of the Doppler effect, this paper formulated the majorsystematic parameters and developed its basic functions .by analyzing the theories of DDStechnology through comparing the characters of different types of chips and combining withthe concrete requirements of the system technical index, we close the high-integrated chipAD9852, whose performances and important modules'application methods were illustrated indetail. Then the paper demonstrated the feasibility of the designed simulator's hardwarecircuits and the software platform, and then showed the whole systematic scheme: farmingsoftware system for the signal simulators, establishing relationship between then stateparameters of moving objects and the modulation signals, setting the parameters of the modulation signals to control the hardware circuits by UART and putting out the simulatedsignals wanted by users. This paper mainly illustrated the controlling theories based on CPLDand DDS hardware circuits, the programming process based on CPLD and VHDL and thedesign of digital–analog commixture PCB. And according to the relationship between thestate parameters of moving objects and modulation signals, thesis explained specifically thedesign procedures based on LABVIEW 8.6 software, the points on active control from thesoftware to the hardware and the solutions of the problems met in the design process.In then end ,this paper demonstrated the test results and the key points and direction forfarther improvement of the system ,the experiment results show that the signal simulator ofmoving objects characteristic waves can not only simulator the echo signals of the movingobjects but also can function as the ordinary signal generators, with the feature such as simplestructure, easy debugging ,low cost ,etc .as this system is totally controlled by software ,itcan generate different type of modulation signal without changing the hardware therefore ,itcan satisfy the requests of the tasks and the needs of the practical applications.
