Research Of Load Balancing Technology Of SSL/TLS Web Server Cluster

With the rapid development of Internet, Web-based applications are becoming indispensable in people's lives. In order to protect data security in public network, and to verify the identity of the legitimacy of communication between the two sides, SSL/TLS protocol is widely used. However, the characteristic of the protocol would lead to SSL/TLS protocol server performance dropped drastically on a large number of accesses. This gives heavier burden to the server that is already overwhelming.This paper analyzes the existing Web server cluster systems, at the same time studied the SSL/TLS protocol and the procedure of the process, and propose an Ethernet-broadcasting-based Distributed Load Balancing scheme of Server Cluster, and improve overall performance on the use of sharing SSL/TLS session. Finally, we achieve the system with Linux Netfilter framework.
