The Medium Voltage Distribution Network Carrier Communication Technology Based On Narrow-band OFDM

The Power Line Communication (PLC) is a data/voice transmission method by making use of the power line as communication media. Compared with the other wired communications, it has huge potential applications. First of all, the thesis analyzes the characteristics of the distribution network channel model, including the attenuation characteristics and noise interference, together with the simulation analysis to the Medium Voltage Distribution Network Channel Model. Next by using MATLAB 7.0 as simulation tools, we analyze the principles of OFDM systems and key technologies, a Medium Distribution Network Channel Model based on the Narrow-band OFDM, and carried on the simulation experiment. The simulation result indicates: OFDM technology can perfectly work with the Distribution Network Channel and effectively defend the impacts from noise characteristics, attenuation characteristics and so on. Finally, the thesis concludes summarizing the main contributions of research and by presenting some ideas and prospects for future researches.
