Semantic E-Commerce, the E-Commerce based on the Semantic Web technology. With the development of E-Commerce and The rapid growth of information, the E-Commerce base on the traditional internet technology show many issues, such as the rapid exchange information between B2B or B2C, the quickly match between customer and information that he needed. As the core technology of the next generation Internet, the basic idea of the Semantic Web is to make information in the Web well defined, and be read and processed by programs automatically. The Semantic Web is based on XML, uses RDF as a unified resource description frame and ontology as a tool of vocabulary sharing and semantics exchange. Once the goals of the Semantic Web come true, application programs (such as various Agents) will replace humans to read and process the information in the Web, and cooperate with other programs to complete an intelligent job. To using semantic web technology in the E-Commerce domain will solve the defeets of the traditional E-Commerce.This paper firstly introduces some knowledges of Smantic E-Commerce, then gives a brief introduction to the Semantic Web,including the basic concepts, the hierarchy model and its applications. It shows the roles of URI, XML, RDFand ontology in the hierarchy. And it also introduces DAML+OIL, one of the ontology description languages. Based on the hierarchy model, the paper describes the general application frame of the Semantic Web, and proposes an e-Business application frame based on Semantic Web, which uses all the major components of the Semantic Web and can be implemented in practice. Then the paper elaborates logical inferences about the domain Ontology of Semantic E-Commerce in detail. It demonstrates how to change Description Logic to First Order Logic, and from FOL to Horn clause, and sets up the rules in Prolog. We also implement the inferences about Ontology using XSB Prolog Inference Engine. In addition, we discuss how to accurately search resource in the Semantic Web using the inference of Ontology. At last, we present how to implement the e-Business application frame. And we also use an example scenario to explain how to design Ontology, how to interact between XSB Prolog Inference Engine and Java application, how to implement accurate search engine and how to communicate between Agents.
