Configurable Embedded Systems Security Model Research And Its Implementation

With the computer and internet's rapid development, more and more embedded devices access the internet, the degree of network embedded system continuously improving, its security problem seems more and more important. Improving system security and reliability are one of the future development directions of embedded system.Faced with the current security requirements of embedded system, Researchers have made a lot of methods and techniques to improve the safety of embedded system, to strengthen the security of embedded system, but there are still deficiencies:Different users should not flexible configure safety property according to their demands; Used single security policy to determine, making inadequate security; In view of the above questions, this thesis carried out a series of research work, and designed an XML-based configurable embedded system security model, major ones are as follows:1,Analyzed the security status of embedded systems and the method that build safety embedded system.2,For this thesis building safety POS system's operating system's demand,Graphical user interface system MiniGUI's message mechanism,XML-based user interface customization and several classic security model.3,Design a configurable embedded system security model,the idea of GUI's message mechanism and XML-based user interface makes system graphical interface can be customized,and at security checks,use RBAC,DTE,MLS security policy to carry out safety checks to user's request,improving the system security.4,Combinating specific project "safety POS system development",verity configurable embedded system security model about this thesis.the prove of practical application.Through experiments to prove, this thesis designed the security model improving both system's flexibility and system's security.Overall, this thesis do the deeper research on XML-based user interface and embedded system security model, design a configurable embedded system security model, achieved some results on improving the embedded system's security and flexibility.
