As more and more Web Services and information are published on the Internet, there are many choices for people to find the right service and information. How to find the right information effectively and make use of different Web Services in a comprehensive way are two of the key problems of Web based technology in this information booming era. This paper applies the theory of Service Oriented Architecture into the designing of transaction procession model of composite Web services, and also works out a selection strategy of composite services to make Web based software system providing appropriate service to meet user's needs.First, the present investigation condition and relevant problems of Web based software system are analyzed; Summarize theories of Web Service and Service Oriented Architecture. Then, contrary to SOA integrating different service parts, this paper classifies Web software system into five different roles: Service Registration Center, Service Requester, Virtual Central Procession Unit, User Interface Center and Service Unit. A transaction procession model that can deal with composite service of Web based software system is built up by adjusting these five parts working together. And then, on the basis of the transaction procession model, User Interest Model (UIM) is designed to build up a service selection strategy of composite service. Criterions of service unit's description and indexes of QoS (Quality of Service) are also defined in this paper. Finally, the simulation experiment of UIM training shows that the more practice in the UIM training the more scientific the User Interest Model will be. This study is propitious to the design of composite services transaction procession model of Web based software system, and works out a selection strategy for composite services based on user interest learning.
