Multiuser Detection Technology Based On Ant Colony Algorithm

As we all know, on January 7, 2009, China's Ministry of Industry and Information announced the approval of China Mobile Communications Corporation's increasing the business license based on the TD-SCDMA technology standard of the third generation mobile communication (3G), China Telecom's increasing the business license based on CDMA2000 technology standard of 3G, China Network Communications Group Corporation's increasing the business license based on WCDMA technology standard, that is, everyone said " The release of 3G camera" 3G once again becomes a hot topic of discussion. As the core system CDMA is inevitable; therefore, it is the only way to overcome some key technologies to improve the system capacity and to enhance market competitiveness. Multiple access interference has been a troubled problem. Multiuser detection solutions has become an effective weapon, of which the best multiuser detection technique in can be completely overcome the multiple access interference in theory, but for its computational complexity, so far there is no way to promote the technology. In recent years, another branch of science intelligent algorithm has been developed by leaps and bounds, they simulated natural ecosystems, then obtained a completely different theory of mechanism with traditional mathematics and applied successfully to solve difficult problems with the NP problem, and the ant colony algorithm because of its unique advantages was favored by the general scholars.In this paper, combined with the development of the developing background, from the multiuser detection problems, proposed the ant colony algorithm model to solve the problem, and exercised MATLAB simulation software to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.In this paper, the main research contents are as follows:(1) First of all, we analyzed the CDMA systems multi-user detection problems and the main methods currently. The weight-bearing point is the best multiuser detection.(2) Second, we introduced ant colony algorithm and its optimization - random perturbation ant colony algorithm in detail, understanding the idea and steps profoundly.(3) Third, for the multiuser detection problems of CDMA system, we proposed a model using above algorithm and simulated through the MATLAB software, testing the validity of reducing the error rate. (4) Finally, the full text of the research work are summarized, and look forward to the further research and application in the field of a multiuser detection, while prospect the development of CDMA as well as the bright future of 3G.
