Multiuser detection can efficiently reduce Multi-access Interference in CDMA system. At the same time, it can increase system capability and improve near-far effect. At first, the multiuser detection algorithms are classificated into optimal algorithm and sub-optimal algorithm, then further research is made with respect to those algorithm mentioned above.the main sub-optimal detection includes linear detection and non-linear detection. The former includes minimum mean square error detection and decorrelative detection. The latter includes multi-stage detection, feedback decision detection and interference cancellation detection. In this paper, present multiuser detection algorithms used for CDMA system are summarized. Moreover, the receivers are further compared and researched, and a bit-streaming detector is discussed significantly, in which the first stage is de-correlating detection.Secondly, The optimal CDMA receiver in AWGN channel is a NP complexity problem in synchronous and asynchronous transmission. With the advantage of parallel calculation, heuristic algorithm has been used in the research. A novel multiuser detection method based on the Genetic annealing evolutionary algorithm is proposed for CDMA system. By using the algorithm, operation complexity is reduced, convergence performance is increased, and anti-jamming capability is gained. Finally, by building some simulation libraries of 3G mobile communication system, programming algorithm software and constructing module, the authorhas analyzed and validated the theory mentioned above through experiment figure and data. The standard is taken from key characteristic about CDMA in 3G mobile communication system.
