Now the test of local short-wave broadcasting station is mainly based on outfield testings, this kind of method costs is high, also complicated, and be subjected to the geography environment and the weather influences. Along with the information-based development of troops, this kind of test method can't meet the demands obviously. In this case, research to manufacture a kind of equipments that can imitate a condition of various short-wave channel is necessary. At present, system of channel simulation is built up mainly around base-band signal. This artical also uses this thoery as basis, studing a 10M IF signal's channel simulation technique, it is also called HF Channel Simulator.After the research of our system model, we determine the basic implementation of the program, combined with modern digital signal processing. Then use MATLAB7.0 to verify the feasibility of the program. When it is correct, use TI currently the most advanced digital signal processor chip TMS320C6416t as a hardware platform based on the PXI chassis, for the short-wave radio to provide testing.Consider the characteristics of digital filters and digital signal processing requirements in this paper, gaussian shape FIR filter is used to generate gaussian noise, which has guassian shape in its power spectrum.Then, to meet the requirements of real-time signal processing systems, design a interpolation filter used to improve the rate of digital signal to IF.At last, studying the mechanism of DSP EDMA transmission, write the code for it to test the process of data transimission.
