The Research Of The Network Capacity Of The GSM

In view of the contradiction between mobile phone users'demand and the network capacity of the GSM with limited radio frequency resources, the measure of increasing network capacity of the GSM becomes very important now. This thesis is foundational research to meet this requirement.Firstly the thesis has proposed the computational method about the network capacity in theory of the GSM with C/I, and carried on the quantitative analysis to the relations between the network capacity of the GSM and the mobile connection quality.Secondly the thesis has studied the assignment of the network capacity in the dual-frequency network structure with GSM900 and DCS1800. In the aspects of dual-frequency network plan, parameter establishment and the situation of capacity sharing, it has proposed the related application strategy.Thirdly the thesis has taken some experiment on the new technologies such as AMR-HR, Common BCCH, 6-Sectors BS in order to increase the network capacity with maintaining the mobile connection quality as far as possible.At last, concentrating on the development of the wireless communication system, the thesis has given the forecast in the research of the network capacity of the GSM.
