Some Discussion About Perelman's Soul Theorem For 2-dim Alexandrov Spaces

This is a report on recent preprint "An extension of Perelman's soul theorem for singular spaces" a joint work by Prof.Jianguo Cao,Bo Dai and Jiaqiang Mei.In this report,we'll discuss a detailed proof of Perelman's soul theorem for two dimensional Alexandrov spaces.In Chapter 1,we'll present a background of Perelman's soul theorem for n-dimensional Alexandrov spaces.In Chapter 2,we'll present some material which we'll need in the proof.In Chapter 3,we'll present the proof of Perelman's soul theorem for two dimensional Alexandrov spaces.
