Research On Distributed Education Resource Sharing System Based On SOA

With the development of educational information, a large number of schools have set up the campus network, and accumulated lots of educational resource, such as various subjects teaching cases, experimental cases, various types of teaching management software, excellent teachers'resource. However, these resource form an isolated island of information, it is difficult to share these resource among different schools, which resulting in tremendous waste of resource. If using the centralized resource-sharing model constructs the resource sharing system, with the increasing of the system user, it will cause the single point failure, the network congestion and other inevitable disadvantages. So we need to study the methods, mechanisms and technologies to realize the distributed resource sharing.As an implementation of the Distributed System Application Architecture, SOA provides a better vision for the construction of education resource sharing system. Using the SOA technology in the education management system could share various resources in the form of service, and then sending a message to call service, the distributed resource sharing system can be implemented flexible. Much attention has been paid to design and implement the distributed education resource sharing system based on SOA, and study the theoretical methods and techniques for the implementation of distributed resource sharing system in this paper. The mainly researches and innovation based on the preceding works as follows:(1)It analyses the research status of the educational resource management system and summarizes the deficiencies of various resource management system, which lay the foundation for the implementation of the distributed education resource management system.(2)It introduces the related technology and theory of SOA, and compares the SOA architecture to the traditional distributed architecture, which confirms the implementation of distributed education resource sharing system based on SOA is reasonable.(3)It designs the system structure of the education resource sharing system based on SOA, and proposes the hierarchical model of education resource sharing, the entire model including three tiers, center nodes, management nodes and the resource node. At the same time, the functions of these system nodes are defined.(4)It defines the property of all kinds of education resource based on the"National Norms of the Education Resource Construction", and designs the mark norms of education resource metadata specification based on XML, explores the optimization methods of the metadata pre-processing.(5)It designs the resource management and search module based on the web services technology, realizes the resource upload, modifies, delete, and distributed search function. At last, the prototype system is constructed, the rationality and feasibility is confirmed. (6)It discussed theoretically the resource retrieval strategy of distributed system, proposing a retrieval strategy to improve the flooding algorithm and demonstration the validity of the strategy through theoretical analysis and experiments.
