Laser cleaning is a new type of industrial cleaning technology.If applied to industrial processes,it can break the predicament of current molds cleaning industry in our country,reduce the cost,and meantime,it does not have the pollution as the tionalways do.it is good t0 the environment.It can also help US raising the environment awareness.As a high—tech technology,Laser cleaning gains high economic—profits,and it will be the mainstream in the future molds cleaningindustry.Laser cleaning will take an important role in the molds industry.The development in and out the country,the development history,the characteristics of the laser cleaning and the principle,the classification of the laser clean mold are introduced.The application of laser cleaning in the real life is illustrated.The main adsorption force between rubber granules and the matrix on the molds surface is Van der Waals'force.The main wiping off way of the rubber granules that absorbing on the molds surface is indicated,and a laser cleaning mathematical model is set up.Based on the finite difference method to solve the equation,the arbitrary times temperature of the matrix surface can be got.The temperature distribution when the laser origin of heat clean the rubber molds surface is simulated By ANSYS,the highest temperature of the molds surface in different laser power density is also determined by AYSYS.A linear equation between the power density and the highest temperature of the molds surface is got through the data has been obtained.The definition and evaluation methodology of surface cleanliness is indicated after the cleaning threshold and the damage threshold are got by the experiments.The cleaning threshold and the damage threshold of molds laser cleaning are predicted by the equation..The technical study to the rubber products molds laser cleaning technology is the emphasis.First,the preparation work before experiment such as the choosing of laser and optical system should be done right.Then,the swatch should be worked out,the rubber is prepared by mixing mill,internal mixer,extruding machine and curing press. The specific laser cleaning operating procedure should be done strictly.The effects of the laser power,defocusing amount and the scanning velocity tO the cleaning results are got by experiments;the cleaning threshold and the damage threshold are obtained. The definition and evaluation methodology of surface cleanliness is indicated after the cleaning threshold and the damage threshold are got by experiments.At last,the radiation that might exist in laser cleaning is introduced.The importance of the laser protection is showed,and three kind of preventive measures to the protected targets is proposed.
