As a result of the rapid development of the computer science,the related technologies about the mesh become more and more widely used to resolve practical questions,so the mesh generation technologies turn into a hot topic gradually.At the beginning people used to pay their much attention at the triangulation of the surface,but it has been proved that triangulation has some intrinsic disadvantages that cannot be conquered.On the contrary quadrilateral mesh can not only reduce the amount of data,but it is more preferred at the surface PDE problems,especially fluid dynamics,so the requirement of high-quality quadrilateral mesh becomes urgent.But usually the quadrilateral meshes generated by traditional method are not qualified for their purpose,so they need to be optimized.At the beginning of this paper we give a brief description about the evaluation criteria about the quality of the mesh,then we give a concise introduction about the classical mesh generation technology,subsequently we give a quite thorough statement about the Remeshing method according to their purpose,and at last introduced a new optimizing algorithm by this paper.The algorithm aims to endow the vertex an energy that created by the adjacent quadrilaterals,and then conversely move the vertex to a more appropriate place by the obtained energy.The last step of the algorithm is an iterative procedure after the sorting of the vertexes,and then we can achieve the goal of optimizing the quadrilateral mesh locally.
