With China's telecom market competitions,as well as the situation of market opening,the domestic telecom operators face more severe competition situations.The telecom operators need to establish influential brand,promote affinity products,and integrate the existing resource such as network/business/channel/customer,in order to build the sale model with product as center.So this requires that the management of the sale phase(pre-sale/sale/after-sale) should be product-based in CRM.The product management system(PMS) can integrate various resources that telecom operators have, and establish sale mode with product-based.Operator is able to promote new product, controls new product directionaUy,manages lifecycle of telecom product,and snatchs the market rapidly.As the background of "Product Management System",author studies the design and development of product management system,and expatiates specially on the information model of PMS.The thesis introduces the theory that consulted on research process,and author analizes the product infomation model and service flow model. Based of research and analysis before,the thesis describes the important design content, including system logic view,interface of system and technology architecture.Finally, the author describes the implementation with product management system in actual project.Some results given in this thesis have been applied and validated in operator's business support system,and upgrade the operator's competition in service promotion.
