The new science & education channel of Chongqing TV station bursts forth after being unstable and toiling hard for many years.At the beginning just a documentary department,and then documentary media company,thenitsprecursor-documentary channel of Chongqing TV station,new science & education channel has carried too much efforts and expectation of the people who are working for documentary in Chongqing.However,the millennialism of documentary~1 in Chongqing shows the necessity for new science & education channel to exist,as well as the new future of itself.It cannot be denied that new science & education channel is just in its childhood.In the background that reform of TV industry system and separation between producing from broadcasting,a lot of problems have been taken to it,such as the cruel market competition,internal management of people and resources,and making influential program.All these problems need the new science & education channel to focus on. Therefore,the study on the success and failure in the process of it needs us to grasp in macro and analyze in micro,tries to gain the aim that evaluates the development strategy and future wholly.Approach of the study:first,it will introduce the great years of documentary department in Chongqing TV station in history.And then the study on nature,marketing strategy,internal and resource management of documentary media company-the strong fulcrum for new science & education channel in the back.And the program content,revision strategies,and "documentary of Chongqing".Finally it will make expectation for its development future,which is going to become a competitive channel contained "brand program" and "mentality soul".The dissertation includes four sections.The first is the history of documentary department in Chongqing TV station;the second is the introduction for the management of the documentary media company of Chongqing;the third is the content and revision of program in new science & education channel;the last is the best expectation for new science & education channel in Chongqing TV station.
