With the rapid development and the wider use of e-commerce,the security and efficiency of electronic payment has increasingly become the focus of people.SSL protocol and SET protocol are commonly used in electronic payment protocol.SET protocol is more secure than SSL protocol due to use a variety of security technologies, and occupies the main position of e-commerce.However,RSA public-key cryptosystem, which is used in SET protocol,still exist some defects in security and efficiency.In contrast,elliptic curve cryptosystem is recognized as the most secure public key cryptosystem,moreover,in the aspect of efficiency,it has the short key and the advantages of fast computation speed,but how to further enhance the operation efficiency of the elliptic curve cryptosystem,still is one hot research of the elliptic curve cryptosystem.Secure and fast e-commerce protocol is a prerequisite for the development of electronic commerce,according to the defects of efficiency exist in SET protocol,then this thesis does research on the elliptic curve cryptosystem,mainly research the selected scheme,digital signature and authentication of elliptic curve and elliptic curve key exchange protocol.On this basis,this thesis mainly researches the point square algorithm,which is the key factor impacts the operation efficiency of the elliptic curve cryptosystem.On the basis of analyzing the binary algorithm and three-position algorithm,this thesis put forward two improved binary algorithm and improved three-position algorithm,then the improved algorithms will be applied to digital signature and key exchange of the elliptic curve,and fuse to the SET protocol.Then this thesis carries out a performance comparison between classical algorithm and improved algorithm,carries out a performance comparison between ECDSA and ECDH based on classical algorithm and improved algorithm.The results show that efficiency can.be improved significantly.In the aspect of security,this thesis uses the the method of formal model checking, and uses checking tool SMV to verify the security of the SET protocol.The results show that the SET protocol can meet the security requirements of e-commerce.
