Since Reform and Opening up, with the rapid development of economy and science and technology China's urban transportation has made great progress. In 2006, urban road area per capita of china reached 10.6 square meters. Annual growth rate of car ownership continuing maintain more than 10%. Public transport coverage increases rapidly. Nationwide Million in public ownership increases from 5.29 in 2000 to 7.66 in 2003. Especially is the rapidly growth of the urban transportation, since the end of 2005. more than 20 domestic cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Dalian have been building or be about to build and layout new rail transit lines, and the overall length is exceed 4000 kilometers, and the overall length may exceed 4500 kilometers since 2050. Urban rail transit's favorable punctuality, security, convenience and less circumstance waste are good remedy of the traditional buses'behind schedule, traffic jam and slow speed, and saves the road resources and relieves the degree of the circumstance waste and becomes the main part of the urban transportation system. Take a sight of the growth of international urban transportation, the urban rail transit is the main traffic style for the developed Countries and areas. And some developed cities of China have been developing the urban rail transit constructively.Subway hub station is the main facilities of the urban transportation and the main site for the passengers'traffic activities. The adaptability of the facilities for subway hub station impacts the use degree of passengers safety facilities directly. And there will two types of phenomenon if the adaptability is poor:The first is the supply can't keep up with the demand when the amount of the passengers increase rapidly. Facilities layout unreasonable, Passengers are too intensive for part of the hub areas (platform, waiting room, etc), spatial distribution is unbalanced between passengers and transportation hub, there are serious structural defects and constraint of the subway hub facilities'construction, Urban rail transit Development lags behind, the management of the transportation needs be strengthened, stampede accident caused by Congestion frequent occurrence, the risk is more serious when the emergencies such as fire, earthquake and Terrorist attacks happened.The second is the design capability of some subway hub stations exceeds the practical demand, and which leads the construction waste.As the center for transfer, this thesis has a large study about the adaptability between the inner facilities of the subway and the passengers flow. There has a deep discuss about the traffic characteristic of passengers flow and passengers'behavior in difference kinds of facilities. Through the method of ontology modeling, this chapter establishes facilities conception model and translates it into simulation model with simulation Language. With the simulation model, this thesis has a deep analysis of the facilities adaptbility.During the study, there are seven chapters for expatiating the, the main contents of each chapter is given respectively as below:Chapter 1: The introduction. The background, purpose and significance of this research are expatiated as well as the current research status in domestic and foreign countries, study contents and methods.Chapter 2: This chapter sums up the domestic and oversea study of the passengers'traffic characteristics and which is the foundation of the analysis for the passengers'behaviors in transportation facilities.Chapter 3: Firstly, this chapter classifies the facilities of the subway hub station. Secondly, according the sort, the next of this chapter has a deep analysis of the behavior of passengers in every kind of facilities respectively. And then this chapter defines the facilities capacity indicators on basis of the pre-analysis.Chapter 4: There are two main parts of this chapter. Firstly, this chapter introduces the meaning of adaptability of the subway hub station systemically and analyses the main influence factors of it. Secondly, this chapter defines the facilities adaptability indicators from the individual to the overall and gives the requirements of the facilities adaptability indicators accordingly.Chapter 5: According the method of ontology modeling, this chapter establishes facilities conception model and defines the main parameters'configuration of every model firstly. Then this chapter gives a formal description for the facilities conception model according the Language Z. In the end, this chapter translates the conception model of facilities into simulation model with Arena.Chapter 6: Firstly, this chapter gets the flow data and the facilities'basic data of the West Zhimen through the integration of the practical observation and the kinescope. Secondly, this chapter has a abstract description for the overall facilities on the basis of the conception model of the fifth chapter and demarcates the parameters of the facilities conception model. Thirdly, this chapter establishes the overall simulation model of West Zhimin according the facilities simulation model and the practice circumstance of West Zhimin. Fourthly, this chapter suggests a new improved program through the analysis of the facilities adaptability of the run result of the simulation model, and has a contrastive analysis between the improved program with the original program.Chapter 7: The conclusion. This chapter summarizes the main research and analyses the further study that are needed to do.
