Biometric identification, for its unique advantages, among a lot of personal identity authentication technologies, becomes the main issue in the field of information security at present. In this paper, the digital signature scheme based on biometrics is researched and designed.The paper first briefly introduces several biometrics commonly used in biometric identification technology, compares the respective advantages and disadvantages at the time of authentication, analyses some typical attacks of a biometric authentication system. Then we discuss an approach based on the biometric key generation technology - fuzzy extractor, which can extracts uniform strong keys from the variable biometrics stably, which provides a new way to make biometric authentication for us.The author of this article extracts cryptography key with biological significance from the biometrics by the fuzzy extractors, and applies it to the identity-based digital signature scheme. In the initial, fuzzy extractor is designed under the conditions of the local authentication, with the extensive application of the internet and the increasingly high demands for the real- time authentication system, it shows a number of limitations, will lead to some security issues.We first do a detailed introduction about the fuzzy extraction technology, then give an opinion of the fuzzy extractor improvements under the insecure channel, so that we can make remote authentication with it, then applies the cryptography key which is extracted by the improved fuzzy extractor into the identity-based signature schemes.In view of a single biometric shows its respective limitations in practical applications, unable to meet the practical requirements, therefore, a digital signature system based on multiple biometrics is necessary, so a digital signature scheme based on multi-biometric is designed in this paper.
