Skin disease is one of the common and frequently-occurring disease that harm people. Skin erythema is one common symptom of skin disease. The change of color and shape of the erythema can reflect the type and level of the skin pathology. Currently, clinical diagnosis is not objective enough since it's mainly made through observation. The digital imaging method, however, will make the diagnosis more objective without causing any side effect.The important theory of skin erythema digital images is the segmentation of image based on some parameter thus getting the image of diseased skin. The parameter used for segmentation is mostly average or single , and little is discussed about the distribution of this parameter in color space. The analysis of parameter distribution regulation in color space will have great impact on that of skin disease.The paper seeks to analyze the hue parameter h and parameter f for segmentation in HSV color space, and discover that the distribution regulations of the two parameters in different areas are strikingly different. when comparison and contrast are made between diseased skin and non-diseased skin, the distribution regulation of parameter h in diseased area and non-diseased area has a stable tendency of change. That is, The center of distribution h in diseased area move left , and the distribution regulation of parameter f in color space is related to the degree of disease.The paper includes the following parts: first, the feature of human skin and several common color space are introduced; then the design and calibration of digital images capturing system are introduced, and the HSV color space is amended; the forth part introduces in detail the distribution regulation of h and f in HSV color space; the last chapter is the theoretical significance and develop direction of parameter in the HSV color space.
