Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing technology (OFDM) developed rapidly in recent years. The algorithms based on OFDM, such as OFDM channel estimation algorithm, the equalization algorithm, and synchronization algorithm became hot research. In all study above, they're unavoidable to be involved in the modeling and simulation of OFDM system in the wireless channel. This article fully takes the character of the actual broadband wireless communication systems into account from the system simulation methodology, to establish the simulation of the OFDM system in the frequency selective channel, and describe the method of setting the corresponding parameters.OFDM technology is very sensitive to the timing and frequency deviation compared to single-carrier systems, so synchronization is a very important aspect of OFDM technology. The synchronization algorithm based on the cyclic prefix is simple to achieve, and has a high-precision, but it is still a semi-blind synchronization. For this defect, this article introduces the estimation of the parameters of OFDM into the synchronization algorithm, and gets a blind synchronization algorithm based on the cyclic prefix. And then for the the poor performance of the algorithm in the multipath fading channel, muti-symbol part correlated algorithm is proposed and achieved by iterative algorithm to improve the speed of computing in this paper. The simulation results show that the improved algorithm has better performance compared to the original under the same conditions.
