The radar signal acquisition and display system is an important part of radar system. Along with the development of computer and IC technology, using a general purpose computer, taking the advantage of the high-speed local bus, and developing in the standard platform are the future development trend of radar display and control system.A general terminal system about sector scan radar has been realized in this thesis. The design of the data acquisition card and radar terminal display and control system are described in detail. PCI bus is used in the data acquisition card, and the PCI bus driver is developed to support DMA and interrupt methods, which can greatly improve the data acquisition rate of the whole system. Coordinate conversion is realized based on FPGA, which can meet the demand of real time processing, and give dual attention to operation precision and speed. Framebuffer technology is adopted in the display system to resolve the problem of image speeding up display. The software design of the display and control system is finished under Linux OS by using QT as a development tool. Simulation and experiment results shows that the system is convenience to use, and the display precision and reaction speed are obviously enhanced.
