Research On Trust Model In Mobile Ad Hoc Network

Mobile ad hoc network(MANET) is a new wireless mobile network does not rely on the assistance of any infrastructure, without the centre control nodes and limited calculation resource. Due to the unreliable character of wireless link and the fast changes of topology, MANET is faced to various security challenges. As a traditional security mechanisms supplement, the trust model allows nodes trust relationship is not only the identity-based authentication, but also behavior-based authentication. In this thesis, on the basis of the existing trust model, a MANET trust model, which is identity-based, trustworthy-measured and completely distributed, is accomplished so as to promote the security of the MANET.Identity-based cryptograph and threshold cryptograph are used in the scheme. In the trust model, all nodes share system private key, and any t nodes can create private key for every node, Also, no authority organization is needed in initial phase, and the shared system private key in all nodes and the threshold value can refresh at any moment. Furthermore, a trust-evaluation mechanism is added in this model. By it, the trust model is flexible to control the actions of the every node and achieve many functions, such as intrusion detection,key management, and so on.
