Research On Channel Estimation Technique For MIMO-OFDM System

As a combination of OFDM with space-time coding technique, MIMO-OFDM has recently received considerable attentions, which can not only effectively enhance the transmission rate and capacity of the wireless communication system but also effectively combat multi-path fading and interfere.In this paper, we discuss the principle of MIMO-FODM system based on the introducttion of fading channels. We mainly analysis the STBC-OFDM system, and focusing on the key technology of channel estimation in this system, in-depth research tow kinds of channels estimation methods based on training sequence-based and pilot-based, and also several basic and improved algorithms are given respectively. Finally, the analysis and comparison of these algorithms is made by computer simulation. At the last of the paper, we hold some to be researching in-depth contents, including the channel estimation methods doubling as complexity and property, for example blind estimation, gravel-blind estimation and so on.
