Research On The Spot-spot Correction Techniques For Luminance Ununiformity Of LED Display

The luminance differences of LED in the production and the luminance attenuation with time of LED brought the ununiformity to the whole LED display, made the visual effect worse and shorten the actual using life. According to the above problems, this paper discussed the implement flow of spot-spot luminance ununiformity correction techoniques with camera; then analyzed and corrected the dark current, pixel nonuniformity, brought forward the necessity and method of photoelectricity nonlinearity correction after camera selection; At last, this paper researched, demonstrated and implemented the methods of LED point orientation, luminance calculation and coefficient calculation.This paper made correction for a LED display whose ununiformity is about 7.8%. After correction, the ununiformity reduced to about 1.2%, the visual effect of LED display obviously was improved.
