Long-distance consultation is the most important part of the telemedicine. The function is made the professors could have discussed about the patients'physic image and basic diagnoses. So the long-distance doctor could be gave suggestion and the doctor could be helped get the correct result. While the patient also could get diagnoses by the long-distance doctor.The long-distance image read system based on the P2P is part of the Long-distance consultation. The long-distance image read system changed the video transmission into the picture get by the medicine microscope. The most important thing for the long-distance image read system is how to transfer the real-time audio and pathology picture. The audio without postpone must be clear and the image could not distort. The P2P technology was researched in detail as the base of the telecom construction. Data compress arithmetic-H.263 and real-time network transport protocols RTP/RTCP were researched in detail for the transport of picture and words. On the basis of the P2P technology, data compress arithmetic and real-time network transport protocols , the telecom server of the entire system design and implementation was analyzed in deeply, And the outcome of the test was analyzed in simply, then summarized the foreground of the long-distance image read system.
