Design And Implementation Of Office Automation System Based On Active Server Pages Technology

With the rapid development of the computers and the Internet, the Internet is popularized day by day world-wide. Our society has been spurring the information age with a great speed. And the information system becomes much more important .In order to meet the needs of the information system and be more competitive in the world market, the Shaanxi Info Post Bureau has been designing and establishing their Office Automation systems which can properly show their characters, so as to improve the management standard and efficiency.The author of this thesis had taken part in the development of this project.Through researching the present office automation system, an office automation system based on B/S and C/S mode is proposed by using ASP language. The OA system achieved through the dissertation has many specific functions, including uploading documents, discussing topics, system management, editing personal information, exchanging information, issuing information, sending messages and mails and so on. According to the user type, the system endues them with different authorities and different functions. The user who has the management authority can read, write, edit and leave out information. The others with the writing authority can carry out the reading and writing function while the user with the reading authority can carry on none of the functions except the reading one.The aims of the automation, systematization and standardization office have been achieved by this office automation system. It becomes a shortcut communication platform and has a profound effect on the office mode in Shaanxi Info Post Bureau.
