The Research On An Inter-language Heterologous Data Integration Technology Based On Controls

Heterologous data source integration is an important target to construct the computer applications. At present,the main method of the heterologous data source integration is through the heterogeneous databases. In practical applications, users often need to analyze and deal with all the kinds of heterogeneous integrated business data in an existing system, which also includes a variety of real-time interactive data. In such circumstances, the general sense of the data integration scheme obviously can not meet the requirements. At the same time, if the new system by adding data sources, integrated systems need to have good scalability, it is also practical applications of the problems encountered.In order to meet the application requirements, this paper proposes that we can develop some data source plug-ins for heterologous data source by use of the interfaces by which the data integration frame supplied. It is a flexible and effective method that the plug-ins received and gained heterologous data source, then reform them into unified format according to application layer or users. Using ActiveX controls, the frame can provide standard interfaces and set down the rule of managing the plug-ins. In this solution the data integration frame can possess the inter-language characteristic, expansibility and flexible on the condition of not destroying the original data source.
