The Designing And Implementation Of Security Email User Agent System

With the rapid development and popularization of Internet, the research and the application is now focused on the security of internet, especially security of the Email system. Traditionally, email based on MIME is transmitted in the form of original text. The sender can easily forge his name. Therefore, email is confronted with these unsafe factors, such as disavowing, leaking and juggle etc.This paper mainly deals with the realization of a proof based security Email user agent system, In order to solve the existent problems of traditional email user agent, this paper makes a research from three aspects of security problems of Email user agent systems. Firstly, it designs and realizes a security web Email user agent subsystem, the Email sent from MUA is encrypted, signed and has proof function. Secondly, it designs and realizes a security mail proof plugin subsystem. The outlook and foxmail can have proof function with the support of plugin. Thirdly, it designs and realizes a proof based on the extension of the simple mail transfer protocol. The communication between MUA and MTA can not be intercepted and captured.The innovation points in this paper mainly include the followings. The proof function of security Email is proposed and realized. The paper supports the non-repudiation of Email with webmail and the plugin of Email client. The paper extents the SMTP, encrypts the process of SMTP and marks the proof function. So far the research results are being used in the network of a certain department as project background. The results of the experiment indicate that this Email user agent system has features of safety, security, non-repudiation, and forensic.
