Magnetic Suspension is one of typical mechanics and electronics technology, which includes the electromagnetics, electron technology, control engineering, signal disposal, mechanics and dynamics. The Magnetic Suspension ball Control System testing platform we designed is a single degree freedom Magnetic Suspension ball Control platform. The single degree freedom Magnetic Suspension ball Control system includes the characteristics of simple configuration; capability judged easily,short scientific research cycle and research production applies widely. This testing platform can use manifold controllers and controlling methods, which is suit for the researches and experiments.This thesis focuses on the research and design of Magnetic Suspension ball Control System testing platform. Based on analyzing of Magnetic Suspension ball Control system's working principle, the thesis designs a Magnetic Suspension ball Control System testing platform. This thesis narrates the hardware design of Magnetic Suspension ball Control System testing platform, including the design of displacement senor, controller and power amplifier.The thesis designs a PID digital controller with the real-time workshop toolbox of MATLAB on computer. The result of experiments indicates that the digital controller works well and debugged easily.
