The automation technologies in the modern electrical network is rapidly developed, and the transformer substation has realized nobody duty generally. Because the transformer substation automation's technology and functional scope are not very perfect, specially many equipments has not been able to gain performance data through the existing online monitoring plant, to make up the automation and the existing system, carries out the transformer substation vision examination system's research, will be a brand-new duty.The transformer substation vision examination system is that realizes person's visual function with the computer, and apperceives, recognizes, analyzes the three dimensional image of the transformer substation important electrical equipment and scene, then examine the operation states of the system, obtains the examination result.The vision examination research in power systems has been developed in this century, and with the automation and the intelligent in the transformer substation was been requested, the computer vision technology is utilized in the electrical power system, that researching the visual monitor system of the transformer substation has the extraordinary significance.In this paper, the transformer substation online examination system based on the visual technology has been studied in Ziyang, Sichuan.The core technologies of the system use many key technologies, including the image detection, the vision imagery processing of the transformation equipment and the pattern recognition. Therefore, the researches of the transformer substation vision examination system have very high practical application value.In this paper the transformer substation vision examination system has been studied according to the computer vision theory, including electric power measuring appliance vision recognition, on-off state recognition, transformer substation infrared vision technology in online examination, and visualization environment examination.
