Research On Network Bank Security And Risk Control

With the rapid spread and development of Internet, Network Banking service has been regarded as a core direction of long-term stratagem by many financial institutions because of its advantages on technology, market and cost, etc. Because data processed in Network Banking service usually has relation to finance, such as transfer account, internet payment, the sensitivity of data is much higher than traditional banking servicers; and it is necessary to have further study on how to protect these sensitive data in Network Banking system.This study deeply investigates the current security situations of Network Banking, analyzes the threats and security issues, especially the identity authentication in Network Bank services. Then the study discusses how to effectively protect the Network Banking System using the above technologies.This study analyzes the static-password authentication system, and proposes some assumption to improve it. Furthermore, this study analyzes the common dynamic-password technologies, deeply discusses the dynamic-passwords system based on mobile short messages. This system has achieved dual-factor authentication, with features of low-cost, high security, etc. It is an effective way to protect Network Bank customers' data security.This study also studies authentication methods based on digital certificate, and makes detailed analysis on the technicalities of PKI, then points out its advantages and disadvantages. Finally, the study summaries various kinds of authentication technologies and prospects the Network Banking system using multi-factor authentication .
