CCD(Charge Coupled Devices)is a semiconductor photoelectric device with particular performance. The measurement system with CCD has an advantage on the geometrical measure such as thickness and distance for achieving high accuracy, on-line dynamic detection, non-contact measurement. The system with CCD need to have a CCD driver circuit, data collection circuit and data process circuit and so on. Therefore, we need seriously consider how to design a proper periphery circuit. The thesis presents a method based on FPGA+MCU structure to complete CCD data collection and process.CCD data collection and process based on FPGA and MCU conquers the weak data processing problems existed in the traditional intelligent device that used MCS-51 single chip processor. The system makes full use of MCU and FPGA chip and it has the advantages including flexible structure, generality, expansibility, maintenance. The efficiency of the system algorithm improves greatly and the developing period shortened as well.In the thesis, on the basis of the theory of laser triangulation measurement, with CCD as the sensor and FPGA+MCU technology, the system used to measure little distance and thickness is researched and manufactured. On FPGA, two driver circuit of CCD driver and the circuit of data collection and process are designed. On MCU, the circuit of control and display such as keyboard and LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) are designed. The structure of the system is simple and the function is diversified.
