Research CAN Bus Technology Based On DSP

With the rapid development of industrial automatization control and distribute network, industrial field bus is one new type of industrial control system. Industrial field bus avoids the trouble of building the network in the traditional industrial control system, and decreases the time of information transmitting. Due to the virtue of strong reliability, real time, compatibility, it is widely applied in the industrial control automatization field.First of all, this paper introduces the development process, the status and trend on the industrial control systems and digital signal processor, and the status of digital signal processor applied in the industrial control system, based on consulting the interrelated literature at home and abroad. According to the requirement of this system, one kind of field bus protocol——CAN bus protocol is chosen, compared with all type of the field bus protocols. After selecting the field bus protocol, the system topological structure is designed, according to the requirement of this system. Aimed at the characteristic of this system, such as controlling more sub machine, the rigorous requirement of reliability and real time, TMS320F2812 becomes the core of the CAN field bus control system. Before the area of the system communication software design, because there are none regulation in the application layer of the CAN bus protocol, it need to design the communications protocol, making sure the communications among the host machine and sub-machines. In order to reducing the power dissipation, and according as the characteristics of the CAN bus controller on the TMS320F2812, it make the sub-machines enter the low-power modes on the idle time by software design. In the end, completed the system test, achieved the communications in the whole system, this design comes true the demand of the system.
