Wireless sensor network has been intensely studied all over the word since last 90th century. There are many different aspects in wireless sensor network. In my article , I focus on wireless sensor network location algorithms. There are many classic location algorithms. Those algorithms have their own features. Basically there are two main categories in wireless sensor network . My research is led by distributed network research group. I have made significant conclusions on network location and brought out a new moving anchor- based location algorithm. This article first reviewed the development of wireless sensor network. Then it introduced the background of our research. Besides , the article has introduced each of the existing location algorithm in detail. After giving brief description of range-based localization: TOA(Time of Arrival), RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator), TDOA(Time Difference of Arrival), AOA(Angle of Arrival) , we compared all kinds of range-based localization and analyzed two common localization algorithm TOA and RSSI's CRB . The article also introduced some range-free location algorithms. The range-free localization like DV-hop requires the density of the nodes in the network to be distributed uniformly to achieve high precision. So in my article I innovate to make out a revised localization algorithm. This revised algorithm connect the density of the network and the transimission per hop.to achieve high accuracy.Mobile anchor-based localization is a hot research area now. This localization algorithm in fact use the transimission features of the RSSI signal. Once the node receives a beacon message. The unknown node's location then could be inaccurate. The accuracy becomes better and better after receiving more beacon message. This method is especially good when we only need to know a general position of a node.
