Design And Implementation Of Speech Interface For Automatic Question Answering System

With the developing of Internet, information's search became much more important for people than ever before. But the typical search engine can not locate information directly and its search ability can not improve for many limitations. For this reason, people take more attention to the automatic Question Answering system now. But the automatic Question Answering system still has the short point of using screen and keyboard for intercourse, this not only make the system humdrum and boring, but also can not fit the developing trend's need.Automatic Question Answering system's speech interface was designed and realized in this paper, which gives people the way of intercourse with system with speech, and at the same time, it still support the typical way of using screen and keyboard, its realize has strong realism meaning and developing foreground.In this paper, automatic Question Answering system,speech recognization,speech synthesize was introduced at first, and it also gives the primary content of this paper. After that, the design of speech interface based on web and Jabber instant messaging system was presented, which gives the entire blue print and description of it. And at the same time, the key technologies were introduced.Further more, this paper gives the realizing process of two kinds of interfaces, including voice web page's development, realizing asynchronous intercourse and data type's conversion by Ajax, Jabber client's integration, and make automatic Question Answering system support Jabber protocol.This paper also finish the two kinds of speech interface's test, which validate the correctness of the design, and also gives the analyse of the test results.At last, the conclusions of this paper were presented.
