The Research And Design Of Automatic Question Answering System

To obtain the useful information quickly and accurately results in the birth of automatic question answering system. It has added the knowledge and application of natural language on the basis of the search engine. Compared with the traditional search engine which relies on keyword matching, it can better meet the retrieval needs of learners. First of all, this paper explained the background and significance of the automatic question answering system and researched the development status of the automatic question answering technology. On the basis of the knowledge and theory of question answering system, this paper described the automatic question system model based on the field of computer operating system, and gave specific development process to achieve the system which can answer learner’s question accurately.In order to improve the effectiveness of learner’s query expansion, this article introduced WIKI. To solve insufficient information of the query, this article used local co-occurrence of query expansion’s mode. When it dealt with the data returned by search engine, it considered the similarity between question and title and the similarity between query expansion and abstract. In the area of answer extraction, it used the summary of search engine to extract the information of Internet accurately. After tested system, this system can meet the needs of learners.
