With the development of DWDM transmission systems and EDFA in optical communications applications, as the core part of the multiplexer and demultiplexer, tunable optical filter has become an indispensable optical network device. This paper achieved certain results based tunable grating filter theory and simulation for the 863 pre-research project funded. The main content is:(1) Generally introducing the theory about tunable filters, fiber grating, piezoelectric ceramic, finite element(2) Presenting bonding model about piezoelectric ceramic and fiber by using ANSYS software(3) Verifying the rationality of the finite element model by using the test data of the published thesis referred to stress tunable(4) Presenting three different bonding way about piezoelectric ceramic and fiber. On the premise of giving the same eometric attributes and material attributes of both piezoelectric and fiber, receiving strain image, stress image of the fiber bragg grating and displacement image of the bonding point on the way of four different bonding mode by using the thinking of the finite element model. getting to know how little change will be happened. The result tells that we can get greater tuning range on the way of the first way and the third way ,compared with the second way ,on the condition of the same piezoelectric ceramic material and geometric properties attribute conditions.(5) By giving the same eometric attributes of both piezoelectric and fiber, and the same bonding way, through changing material attributes of piezoelectric, getting to know how little change will be happened by comparing the data from the images of two different bonding mode. The result tells that. there is little change in the range of tunable filter by changing the scope of the elastic modulus(6) By giving the same material attributes of both piezoelectric and fiber, and the same bonding way, through changing eometric attributes of piezoelectric, getting to know how little change will be happened by comparing the data from the images of two different bonding mode. The result tells that there is little change in the range of tunable filter by changing the Cross-sectional area of the elastic modulus.
