The decentration of lenses group is an important factor to the quality of optical system. As a result, the device of measuring decentration plays an important role in agglutinating and centering lenses. With the high rate improvement of computer technology, the automation level of instrument becomes an important part to think of. This dissertation mainly researches the realization of automatic measurement of optical lenses group decentration.Firstly, the importance of measuring of optical lenses group decentration, the status of this technology in and out of our country, and the research contents of this dissertation, and some key technology are introduced. The source of this project is given in the end of this chapter.And then, the definition of optical lenses group decentration, and the comparison between refracted and reflected methods are presented; the formula of eccentricity calculation is deduced after introducing the principle of self-collimation catoptric measurement of optical lenses group decentration. The design of the whole measurement system, the requirements of important components of the system and how to choose them are pointed then.The analysis of relative software of the system is emphasized in this dissertation, and the key points of it are discussed in detail, including: (1) the control of the translation stages and rotary stages through the serial port; (2) the image capturing process of CCD; (3) evaluation of definition for gray image and automatic focusing technology; (4) the extraction of five crosses in a same image and the check-up and correction processed for the correctness; (5) three methods of fitting the optimal optical axis, features of them, and detailed illumination of gradient iteration method; (6) the automatic measurement routine.Then detailed steps of installing and the method of the magnifying coefficient determination are designed.At last the precision analysis and summarization are presented.
