Usually computer operating system (such as Windows), although to be able to create multi-user accounts, only allows one user to logon to systems. User monopolizes the whole system's software and hardware resources. Thus, in the case of public premises or more family members requesting the use of computer, we can't satisfy everyone. Multi-user logging-on can deal with the aforementioned problem.Firstly, by analyzing the structure of current desktop operating system and the supporting to multi-user, we find the associating components. Then we study and analyze Terminal Service on its initialization, process and result, we get its principle.Next, based on local machine, we design a local multi-user logging-on program, and we explain its principle and designing procedure, especially its key part: device assignment and communication with Session Manager. Then we can create multi session environment and complete the creation of user logging-on. We class local device, choose our device assignment method and design our arithmetic. Based on the operating system, we use the system resource and communicate with SMSS. So it can start multi Win32 subsystem. Then we deal with the key problem of multi-user logging-on.At last, based on the upper work, we discuss the application of multi-user logging-on. Followed on the public in the small office space and in the family of application potential integrated family of multimedia application development is its future research direction.
