Information technology (IT) is emphasized highly more and more with the development of the science and technology in the 21st century. It affects almost all the industry areas dramatically. For the oil industry, the construction of an integrated information platform for an oil wellsite is necessary to meet the demand of the modern oil exploration. How to make the drilling information systems in all of the oil fields in China more mature and reasonable is being focused by the modern petroleum enterprises.With the progress of the IT-based information platform of wellsite, the concept of digital wellsite is proposed. Digital wellsite is an integrated complex system in which a series of hardware and software modules are included such as data acquisition and store, data transmission, database, drilling engineering CAD, drilling supervising and direction etc.. Thus, it can carried out the important tasks atomically during drilling processesIn this thesis, based on embedded system, the designation of a wellsite multi-parameters instrument is discussed, which can obtain and display all kinds of parameters dynamically during drilling processes. In this multi-parameters instrument, the ARM9200 embedded system with ARM9 processor is taken as the main processor to complete the data disposing,displaying and storing. Comparing with the conventional multi-parameters instrument, the new one has many advantages such as lower power consumption,smaller size,higher integration scale and so on. A feasible way of porting embedded Linux OS to the AT91RM9200 platform is introduced in detail, and the designations of the Qt GUI and touch-screen driver are completedOn the designation of the touch-screen driver, a new method is adopted. On the basis of analysis the Qt/Embedded event mechanisms, a solution of simulation of the mouse events to achieve touch-screen driver is proposed to in the application level.The operating system ported and the touch-screen driver as will as other processes referred in this thesis are tested on the ARM9200 system and runs stably and accurately.The results are performed and discussed.
