Baseband processing technology and RF technology are the key technologies of HF communications system. For a long time, the research on short-wave communication system is largely concentrated in the front, while RF technology in the short wave communications field is relatively weak.The paper studies the current status and the future development of the foreign short-wave communication, so as to make the thesis research objectives: applying baseband processing technology, HF array configuration and beam forming technology to increase the performance of the short-wave communication system.The paper researches the key technologies in the above short-wave communication system, as well as the technical features and application areas with the certain application requirements. The research focuses on the baseband processing model, RF array options and configurations in the short-wave communication system. Simulations about the baseband processing, RF array configuration and beam forming technology have shown performance enhancement in the shortwave communication system. Finally, the author makes the summary and outlook about the future and implement of the short-wave communication system applying the baseband processing, RF array configuration and beam forming technology.Through site work and specific simulation, the author suggests a feasible scheme, and gives new reference ideas for HF communications system to enhance the communication effectiveness.
