This thesis has been done with the scientific research projects. The mainly work is research on the relationship between structure parameters and the electric performance for phase array antenna.Firstly, based on the expression of Phase Array Antenna on the no scanning state of how the flatness and random error of the matching accuracy affect the electronic performance, like directional gain. The influence of the flatness and the matching accuracy with random error distribution on maximum directional gain and the side lobe of the linear array antenna, rectangular array antenna and the triangular antenna are analyzed. Then the method of confirming the tolerance which used in the engineer practice is given.Secondly, the influence of surface error of the rectangular phased array antenna on the scanning state is analyzed. The phased array antenna composed of 32*32 elements is simulated by MATLAB. All the analyzed results indicate that the method of confirming the tolerance is practical in engineer which lay a good technical foundation for designing such antennas.The third content of the paper is the method which implements the low side-lobe phased array antenna with different aperture distribution. The aperture distribution of cosine weight function, the taylor weight function and the chebyshev weight function are used in the design of the phased array antenna. The MATLAB is used to simulate the radiation pattern and the results are compared. Then, we get the better aperture distribution function.Finally, the analysis of how the thermal deformation affects the electrical performance of the triangular phased array antenna is done. The simulated results showed that the influence of the thermal deformation on the maximum gain and side lobe is to a certain extend.
