Wireless sensor networks (WSN) have important scientific and great practical values in many fields, such as national defense, industrial control and environmental monitor. In this paper, data visualization system for WSN is designed and implemented on the basis of visualization system SNAMP1.0 by analysing and comparing of current visualization system of monitoring WSN.The main contents as follow:1.The overall design of WSN visualization system: Based on the analysis and comparison of other visualization system, overall framework of visualization system is designed, including serial monitoring module, topology monitoring module, data storage module, real-time display module, simulation distribution module and data query module, and its workflow is described.2. The design of core algorithm in the key modules: the paper researchs and analyses enquiries equivalent decomposition algorithm, multi-query optimization algorithm, based on the location of the positioning algorithm, improves and optimizes these algorithms, designs and implements the positioning algorithm and simulation node reality distribution algorithm, and these algorithm are described in pseudo-code.3. The code of functional modules: Select Oracle 10g database whose storage capacity, concurrent processing capability and confidentiality are good and Visual C++ 6.0 which is a powerful kind of programming tools, code the above algorithm and function module.4. The test of visualization System: visualization system and each functional module is respectively test in Windows. Result shows that the visualization system can achieve the desired objective of the design and user-friendly monitor the entire WSN.
