Far distance communication capability, high transmission quality and good secrecy are required in modern communication system. As spread spectrum communication technology possesses all the above-mentioned advantages, it has a bright application outlook in the future .With the fast development of microelectronics and Electronics Design Automation (EDA) techniques, the programmable logic device has become new strength in the field of digital signal processing by high speed and quick and also flexible development. In more and more occasions, people use EDA to implement the spread spectrum communication. This article by realized the direct sequence spread spectrum communication principle with VHDL.Firstly, through analyzing the present situation and developmental tendency of spread spectrum technology. This paper pointed out the advantages of spread spectrum communication technology based EDA and the research significance of this subject.Secondly, the generation of spread spectrum code, digital modulation and demodulation and the technical foundation of the direct sequence-spread spectrum communication principle were researched. According to the functional needed of the system, this paper constructed the holistic model of the system and gave the overall schemes.Thirdly, according to the model of the direct sequence spread spectrum, this paper designed m sequences module, information frame Packaging module, spreading module, code modulation transform / inverse transform module, synchronization module and spread-spectrum solutions module.Fourthly, Based MAX+plusâ…ˇsoftware design platform using VHDL language for main modules of direct sequence spread spectrum system model. Finally, completed debugging and testing of the system, all the design had passed the post-simulation which was close to the real. The result showed that the preset requirement had met.Through the simulation, it had confirmed the design accuracy, which could provide for further designs with higher integration and greater flexibility in the modern communication system in the future. This dissertation could be converted to be real. The design committed in this dissertation could be converted to be real receiver after some improvement, and so could be applied to the wide wireless communication...
