Research On The Application Of Speech Recognition Technology In Children's Courseware

Since the birth of the computer, mankind has been in pursuit of computer intelligence, natural language man-machine interaction. Speech recognition technology indicates that the human and computer communication will enter a new phase of man-machine interaction, human beings will use the lowest cost to learn how to use highly intelligent computers and related equipment. It will provide high-performance, comfortable, and convenient service for human's production and life. Early childhood education software request the designers to carry out research and design from the physical characteristics of child, and get rid of adult perspective for its users' specific age and unconventional stage.We describe the current situation and application fields of speech recognition technology, and analyses the features and ways of interaction of the current speech recognition software. Comparing with other interactive mode, we conclude the human-computer interaction features of speech recognition technology.And early child education software is the main object of this study. From the view of software design, its development direction, user profile, classification, and the impact on the early child's growth have been discussed emphatically.From three aspects, the user, the software goals and communication interface, we focuses on human-computer interaction features of early child education software, paving the way for the introduction of speech recognition technology. At last, we developed an instance with Microsoft Speech SDK 5.1 ,VC++, and flash technology, and realize the application of speech recognition technology in the early child education software.
