The main purpose of antenna design stage is to complete modeling and simulation of an antenna. If parameterization design can be used to help designers in this stage, the efficiency of designing antenna will be improved.In this article, current research situation of design and research of the reflector antenna and the waveguide slot-array antenna is firstly presented, then comparison and classification of different reflector antennas and different waveguide slot-array antennas are shown and the advantages and disadvantages also have been discussed in this paper, parameterization technology is induced.On this basis, with detail analysis of the reflector antenna and the waveguide slot-array antenna's structure, a method based on C++ programming and GEO file is offered, which can complete parameterization design of parabolic antenna and waveguide slot-array antenna.In C++Builder development environment, analysis and calculation method of antennas above will be integrated, implementing visual modeling, display and modification. The system provides designers with a convenient interface for parameterization design of typical antennas and assists designers fast and accurately to establish a rational model in design stage, improving the efficiency of antenna design. In each module, related photograph information, data information has been shown and expressed visually, helping designers understand antenna modeling.In the end, analysis of electric performance of the antenna model established in the software prototype have been made to validate practicability of parameterization design and software prototype given by this article.
